The Callisto design on this small hand painted paper empire lampshade is a product of some sketchbook doodling. It features the signature ovals and cross-hatching which are reminiscent of many of the designs Cressida grew up with at Charleston. It's perfect for pairing with the Callisto Vase table lamp base.

Many lampshades are too wide to fit in a confined space, this tall and narrow size of shade however is an ideal fit for shelves and bedside tables.

Each shade is unique and has been individually handcrafted in the UK before being hand painted and signed by Cressida in her London studio. Designed to be lit up, the contrasting mauve stars and orange crosshatches really pop up out of the cream background when you turn the light on, bringing a lovely, colourful warmth to the room.
